A young man with an interest in the occult, Robert Blake, becomes intrigued by a large abandoned church in the Italian and migrant quarter of Providence, Rhode Island, visible from his home in the Upper East side. His investigations uncover a dark history tied to a feared cult known as the Church of Starry Wisdom, and the church is regarded by locals as haunted by an ancient evil. This volume also features an adaptation of a short story about a creature called Dagon.
