Hoshino is a shy elementary school teacher who reconnects with Sudou, a former high school classmate, after more than ten years. They learn that Sudou's child is in Hoshino's class. As they spend time together, they attempt to understand their feelings and revisit the past—what initially drew them together and what eventually caused them to separate during their high school years.
