Kyubei declares that he's going to take Otae as his wife. Shinpachi is confused by the sudden turn of events, but he remembers Otae's tears as they separated and charges into the Yagyu mansion with Kondo! Gintoki, Kagura, Hijikata, and Okita come to help.
