Nichiuri TV’s Tomurai-san reveal that the prank show was all a lie and she was not an employee of the TV station either. She swore revenge on Sleeping Kogoro as he send Utsubo to jail. Tomurai san aimed her gun at Kogoro. Conan appeared and defend him. As his shoes are sent for maintenance, Conan has no choice but to act pitifully in order to stall for time. Conan notices water leaks from the ceiling and gathers the water droplets into a bottle. Using the bottle, he managed to snatch away the detonator and gun from Tomurai san.
