Once when he was working as a Salaryman he brought his work <i>Saigo no Kake no Tsumori</i> (最後の賭けのつもり) in person, and was nominated to be a finalist in Monthly Young Jump Manga Grand Prix (月例ヤングジャンプMANGAグランプリ). After this, he debuted with <i>Shikkoku no Remunea</i> (漆黒のレムネア). After completing this some time later, <i>Curry naru Shokutaku</i> (華麗なる食卓) started serialization in the 7th volume of Young Jump in 2001.
