Zed desperately wishes to participate in the Joust, the annual fighting competition that decides the Shard Champion. Dumas, Robès, Mikki, and Roya all participate. When Mikki, who is entered in the Joust, expresses his fear of fighting a second round, Zed decides to switch clothes with him and fight in his place.
