Arriving in Giorhaze, the capital of the underground country of Giordal, Anos follows a suspicious-looking Erdomaid to a church. There, they obtain a Pledge Jewel, which summons a dragon. Furthermore, Erdomaid sees Naya's aptitude and makes a pact with her with a plan. Anos hears about Ahide's movements from the bishop of the church and decides to capture him before he meets the Pope.
