Hisoka was raised by Yukitaka, the current leader of Jinsei Corporation, along with Daisuke, his trusted assistant. His adoption was intended to prepare him for supporting Yukitaka's daughter, Orihime, who was set to inherit the company. He agreed to go to the same school as her to act as a hidden protector.
