The leader of Team Rokuyukai, Zeru, challenges Hiei, who is seemingly overwhelmed by Zeru's initial fiery assault. However, Hiei uses the jagan eye, enabling him to shrug off the assault without a scratch. Hiei later uses his new technique, the dragon of the darkness flame, to obliterate Zeru.
