Yanagisawa and Murota have been incapacitated due to viral insects released by Minoru "Doctor" Kamiya. Kido later has his spinal cord severed by Doctor's psychic scalpel. Yusuke arrives when a group of doctors surround Kido. Yusuke is able to determine Doctor's identity after Kido uses his shadow to write his name.
