Aoya Toudai Monogatari

Aoya is a coastal town with a history dating back to the Yayoi period, long relying on its connection to the sea. It became an important port during the Edo and Meiji periods, serving Kitamaebune ships. Cape Nagaohana, extending into the Sea of Japan, is home to the Nagaohana Lighthouse, a notable local feature. A high school girl in the town grows interested in the sea's allure while discovering the history of Aoya through interactions with two komainu spirits.
