Fujiko Takanasu is a kung fu enthusiast who visits a building near her workplace that belongs to her great-grandmother, Aino. The building, Atlantis Kaikan, is inhabited by Aino, Dog Day, Cat Nui, and the building’s spirit, Hyakuzou. Fujiko starts living there and shares a room with Day.
