Ookawa Taketo has feelings for his Biology teacher, Tsuruoka, but after confessing, he is rejected due to Tsuruoka's past experience of being dumped by a student. Tsuruoka, who maintains a serious attitude toward Ookawa both as a teacher and a romantic partner, becomes increasingly troubled after overhearing a conversation about Ookawa's future. Meanwhile, Tsuji is approached by his junior Tenranishi, a star athlete who confesses and then quickly retracts it. In another story, Hiromi struggles to hide his emotions for his younger classmate Yutaka, while Seiji tries to charm his way out of situations with a fake smile, frustrating Inoue, who wants to see his real one. Florist Shougo, still grieving the death of his wife, is constantly surrounded by his cheerful nephew Takao, whose affection may be more than familial. At a wedding, Takeda is surprised by Kuze's calm demeanor, despite assuming he had feelings for the bride.
