Enzi Hikigane is a highly skilled B-Der who makes a living in a bustling city using his custom B-Daman, Spike=Phoenix. He is well-known for his evasive style and impressive techniques. He meets Hajime Tamauchi, an ordinary person who becomes interested in B-Daman after witnessing Enzi's abilities. The story portrays the daily lives of Enzi and Hajime as they work hard to become the top B-Ders. Along the way, they also face challenges from others who are trying to capture the rare Phoenix.
