Seo Jaewoo discovers that he has been thrust into the setting of a BL novel, not as a bystander but as the antagonistic side-top character, whose role is to harass the main bottom, Yoo Hyeonjin. In the original story, Jaewoo's cruel behavior leads to his death at the hands of the main top, Choi Mujin. To prevent this fate, Jaewoo attempts to shift his role by trying to win Hyeonjin's favor, using food as a strategy. His approach begins to work, and a friendship forms. However, a chance meeting with Mujin causes a dramatic shift in Jaewoo's status as the "lousy side top."
