Kagijin

Tsubame is a metal scrap collector working at the #13 Salvage Camp in the East Asian Desert, striving to save enough money to travel freely. One day, he discovers a girl buried in the sand with a keyhole on her wrist, identifying her as a Kagijin, a being with demonic powers capable of resisting an army. The empire that once enslaved her comes to reclaim her, but Tsubame refuses to let her go, vowing to set her free. A key hangs around his monkey's neck, hinting at its possible connection to her liberation. The story explores how Tsubame intends to keep his promise and the role the key plays in the process.
