Ogamine Maru is a ninja who is loyal to the emperor, yet harbors resentment over being manipulated by others. After getting involved in an incident that led to the death of a family leader, he teams up with the leader's child to pursue the "mokuroku," a goal intended to reunite the Takatsuji family.
