Midou Kouhei comes from a family of exorcists and mediums, yet he possesses no psychic abilities. Unable to foresee the future or communicate with spirits, he is regarded as powerless. However, he makes up for this with quick thinking and the help of his psychic cousin, Seiji, effectively solving crimes. His main goal is to uncover the truth behind his mother's disappearance. The world he moves through is filled with supernatural elements, including talking cats, vampires, and creatures that threaten his safety. Unraveling the mystery of his mother's fate proves difficult in a reality where appearances are deceptive and dangers are constant.
