Takeo Gouda is a large gorilla-like boy who, despite being admired by his male peers, has had little luck with romance in his life as every girl he develops a crush ends up falling for his best friend, Makoto "Suna" Sunakawa, who ends up rejecting them anyway. Shortly after entering high school, Takeo rescues a girl named Rinko Yamato from being molested on the train, though ends up getting suspended after punching the molester at the police station. Rinko, thankful for her rescue, takes an interest in Takeo and offers to bake various treats for him, though Takeo assumes that Makoto is the one she likes. (Source: Wikipedia)
