11 أبريل 2015Upon passing by the door, Kunato and Mozuki discover Ochiai's abandoned lab and fall into a trap, with their bodies hijacked by parasites. Now under Ochiai's control, Kunato and Mozuki visit Numi's lab and puts her body under control of a parasite as well. When Nagate appears to visit Placental Shizuka, he learns that she was moved somewhere else. Depressed upon her disappearance, Nagate hears from Yuhata that Placental Shizuka is under custody for research and that he must not see her again. He then turns to Kunato for answers, but to no avail. Some time later, a massive Gauna approaches Sidonia and Nagate joins the sortie against it, piloting his new guardian, the "Tsugumori Kai". However, Nagate and the other pilots fail to break through the enemy's upgraded placenta until a huge Gauna-like creature appears to assist them. With Kunato acting as its pilot, the creature introduces itself as Tsumugi Shiraui. (Source: Wikipedia)

18 أبريل 2015With her weapon destroyed, Tsumugi attacks the enemy Gauna with her bare hands and Tsuruuchi attempts to take her down while she is distracted but Nagate interrupts him. Tsumugi is then restrained by the Gauna and Nagate steps in to save her. Upon obtaining authorization from Kunato, Tsumugi unleashes an attack that pierces the Gauna instantly, destroying it. Kobayashi then announces that Tsumugi is actually a Chimera, a Gauna-human hybrid developed inside Sidonia, and discontent with the captain for allowing it, the Immortal Ship Assembly decides that they must intervene. After the battle, thanks to Kunato's efforts, all of Ochiai's research is extracted from the auxiliary brain and Kobayashi decides that only she must have direct access to it. Some time later, Kunato holds a meeting to introduce Tsumugi to the public. Upon seeing Nagate, Tsumugi thanks him for helping her, but gets too exited to the point of shaking up the entire room and scaring the audience who turns against her, forcing Kunato to end the meeting. On a later occasion, Nagate and Izana pay a visit to Tsumugi and they become friends with her. Meanwhile, the Immortal Ship Assembly decides unanimously to impeach Kobayashi and have her replaced, but Ochiai appears before them and revealing that he had listened all their conversation, kills all of them under Kobayashi's orders. 25 أبريل 2015With the rest of the Immortal Assembly dead, Kobayashi announces that Sidonia will set course for the Lem Star System, pursuing the Gauna's mothership who threatens the colonists of planet Lem VII. Meanwhile, Yure remembers about Kunato's words, when he reveals that he created Tsumugi by impregnating Placental Shizuka with human DNA, unaware that it is seemingly pregnant again. Elsewhere, Yuhata discovers that Nagate is visiting Tsumugi and meets him and Izana just when they appear to meet her again and she ends becoming friends with her as well. Sometime later, just when Tsumugi is about to sort for a joint exercise, she glimses a large Gauna approaching Sidonia, which remained undetected by assimilating the colonists' ship and departs to attack it by herself. However, the Gauna create a massive structure to trap her and a platoon of 96 Guardian Pilots, including Nagate, depart to assist her. (Source: Wikipedia)

3 مايو 2015The Guardians form a defensive line against a second wave of Gaunas incoming from the main body, when Tsumugi manages to free herself and disobeying Kunato's orders to retreat, keeps fighting in a state of fury, despite her wounds. Izana steps in to calm her down and her Guardian ends up too damaged to continue. While Tsumugi takes Izana to safety, Nagate and the others keep attacking the main body until it fuses all its remaining cores into a single structure that fires a powerful Hyggs beam that destroys several Guardians and threatens to deal a lethal blow on Sidonia. However, Tsumugi uses her own body as a shield to deflect the beam and protect the ship. Before the Gauna has a chance to fire again, Nagate ejects Tsugumori's own main propulsor to create an explosion that exposes the main core for the other pilots to destroy it for good. Once recovering, Nagate calls for Izana and Tsumugi, and a wounded Izana calls back, asking for help, with her guardian holding Tsumugi's body, which is severely damaged. (Source: Wikipedia)

10 مايو 2015Izana have her lost right arm and left leg replaced with prosthetic limbs while Tsumugi is put in a special chamber for regenerating. Nagate feels gloomy due to Tsumugi's condition, but some time later, he cheers up again when he learns that she is fully recuperated. Meanwhile, Sidonia arrives at the Lem Star System to confront the Gauna and fires its retro-thrusters to slow down just as Nagate and Izana are exploring some tunnels, almost being killed in the occasion, but succeed in allowing Tsumugi to take a look at the Residential Area through her probe, much to her joy. Back to the dorm, Nagate is informed that his room will be reserved for another cadet and he must move somewhere else. He then asks Izana to stay at her house for a while, much to her surprise. 17 مايو 2015Nagate spends the night at Izana's house when Tsumugi emerges from the floor, much to the pair's surprise. While preparations are made for Kunato's new weapon created using Gauna technology, the Gravitational Beam Emitter to be tested, Nagate looks for a new house and decides to search for a place close to Tsumugi's chambers, and from which she could easily visit him by sneaking her probe through the ventilation system, inviting Izana to move with him once he finds it. Afterwards, the test for the Gravitational Beam Emitter is considered a success, with the weapon easily piercing through a dwarf planet, but some tentacles from the weapon start spreading by the power cables, a fact that is seemingly overlooked. 22 مايو 2015The Gravitational Beam Emitter goes out of control, and a team of Guardians is assigned to check on the situation. As Ochiai, Kobayashi and Kunato evacuate, Yure attempts to shut the device down just when it self-destructs, annihilating all matter on the vicinity and almost killing her. Despite that, Kobayashi insists on development of the weapon in preparation for the imminent war with the Gauna. Afterwards, Nagate and some other pilots are introduced to a new weapon which they will test, the Hayakaze Mobile Support Armor, and Samari shows concerns about it. Samari then invites Nagate to dine with him, and while hearing some words of comfort, expresses some will to spend the night with him, just to find out that he just passed out. In a later occasion, Izana has some trouble while donning her space suit and discovers that her body is changing. Later at night, Yuhata pays a visit to Nagate's house and reveals to him and Izana that she already knows about Tsumugi living with them, and asks them to keep it a secret from everyone else. In the occasion, Izana reveals her condition to Yuhata, who points out that her body is developing female features, possibly in response to her budding feelings for a male. 30 مايو 2015Arriving at home from helping with the repairs, Nagate and Izana are surprised upon knowing that Yuhata had moved to their house. Some time later, Izana meets her grandmother who takes her for a walk wearing dresses, but when Yure is called back to work, she decides to sneak back home, embarrassed with her clothes, but meeting with Nagate in the occasion. Upon meeting with Sasaki, Yure reveals to her what really happened during the Gravitational Beam Emitter test and asks for her help. Afterwards, Nagate is threatened by Yure to take Izana to one of the top sights of Sidonia. Izana happily accepts his invitation, believing that he intends to take her to a real date, much to Yuhata's distress. (Source: Wikipedia)

6 يونيو 2015Nagate and Izana continue their visit when Yuhata and Tsumugi find a way to eavesdrop them. However, Izana discovers that Nagate was set up by her grandmother and gets angry at him, with Yuhata and Tsumugi returning home and spending the night awoke worried what happened between them. Meanwhile, Sidonia arrives at the Lem Star System and to secure a foothold on planet Lem IX, a reconnaissance party of four pilots using the Hayakaze is arranged, but when one of the selected ones desert and is arrested for treason, Izana is assigned as a replacement. Halfway through the mission, Izana detects an unknown object which is revealed of being a new type of Gauna and both Nagate and Tsumugi watch helplessly through the monitor as Izana and her team struggle against it. 13 يونيو 2015Izana's squad fight for their lives against the Gauna while Tsumugi and Nagate request for permission to rescue them. The Captain complains, and Nagate is entrusted with a new Guardian just completed, the "Tsugumori Kai Ni", for the mission. Meanwhile, Izana and another surviving pilot entry the atmosphere of Lem IX using one of Hayakaze's pieces as a heat shield while being pursued by the Gauna. In the occasion, Izana realizes that the Gauna are attracted to the artificial Kabi they lost and suspecting that they also react to Heigus particles, discards their fuel tanks as well, and they stop being pursued, while remaining with only a little energy left to maneuver enough to reach the surface. Once reaching Lem IX, Nagate and Tsumugi pass through all enemy opposition until they encounter a Benisuzume-type Gauna. Tsumugi then decides to confront the Benisuzume alone in order to Nagate keep searching for Izana. (Source: Wikipedia)

20 يونيو 2015Izana and her squadmate leave the crash site and explore the surface of Lem IX when they are spotted by the Gauna and rescued in the nick of time by Nagate. However, he finds himself surrounded by enemy units and is forced to exaust all his ammo to wipe all of them, except by three, which he defeated using a special blade from his arsenal. Meanwhile, Tsumugi defeats the Benisuzume, but just as she is about to deal the killing blow, Tsumugi is distracted by the copy of Shizuka that appears from inside it and is attacked back, having most of her energy supply drained, which the Benisuzume uses to restore itself. The enemy then impales Tsumugi with several spikes and leaving her in critical condition until Nagate appears to protect her. However, when his Guardian's head camera is destroyed, he becomes at mercy of the enemy, who infiltrates his cockpit and a placental manifestation of Shizuka appears in front of him. 27 يونيو 2015As the placental Shizuka removes Nagate's helmet and restrains him, Izana hacks into the Tsugumori's systems to allow Nagate to deal a killing blow on the Benisuzume, although the Shizuka copy still lies dormant on his cockpit. However, once Nagate releases Tsumugi, all the Gauna located on the planet converge arround them, but Yuhata had sent a team of Hayakaze-equipped pilots including Samari and Tsuruuchi who wipe out all the enemy force for them, rescuing the party and effectively conquering the planet. with his cockpit damaged, Nagate is force to return to Sidonia carrying the placental Shizuka in her arms, before she is put into containment. As Nagate is condecorated for his bravery, Lala approaches Kobayashi and urges her to stop using him for her plans, but the captain claims that she is acting at Sidonia's best interest. Meanwhile, Kunato, glimpsing an incomplete chimera, claims that his main goal is at hand, and Nagate pays a visit to the place where he was raised by his grandfather, leaving behind the medal he obtained as a sign of gratitude before he and his friends are once again called to sortie.
