With reinforcements a long way away, Mio along with the ship's air forces fight against the Neuroi ship. Yoshika, frustrated that she cannot do more to help, decides to don a Striker Unit, a device used to make witches fly, to assist Mio. Although she is hesitant in using a gun, she manages to do enough to allow the reinforcements to defeat the Neuroi. After finding that her father is still dead, Yoshika decides to join the Strike Witches so she can help people. (Source: Wikipedia)
