They are then trapped by Pegasus in an underground chamber and as he is about to claim their souls Yami Bakura unexpectedly reemerges and saves them by blasting Pegasus with the power of his Millennium Ring. His friends yell desperate encouragement, but their voices cannot penetrate the sphere of darkness. Only Yami Yuugi can duel now, but he is at the mercy of Pegasus' Millennium Eye.
