في دولة غادارشيا، توتا سلفادور هي فتاة تبلغ من العمر خمس سنوات، وُلدت لوالدين ماجيين مؤثرين من عائلة سلفادور، التي تُقدّر المواهب السحرية على النسب. تعاني توتا من عدم امتلاكها لأي قدرة سحرية، وتتعرض لخوفها من أن تُطرد. بينما كانت ت 探索 the family temple, she encounters a sealed demon resembling a child, a man-eater so powerful that no mage has ever tamed it. Releasing it could bring disaster. The story follows Toto's bond with the demon as she chooses to care for it despite the dangers. A later part introduces new characters who become entangled with an artifact linked to the demon's legend.
