In the country of Gadarcia, Salvador Toto is a five-year-old girl born to influential mage parents from the Salvador family, which values magical talent over bloodline. Toto struggles with her lack of magical ability and fears being cast out. While exploring the family temple, she encounters a sealed demon resembling a child, a man-eater so powerful that no mage has ever tamed it. Releasing it could bring disaster. The story follows Toto's bond with the demon as she chooses to care for it despite the dangers. A later part introduces new characters who become entangled with an artifact linked to the demon's legend.
