Figure 17: Tsubasa & Hikaru

A 10-year-old girl named Tsubasa Shiina moves to Hokkaido to live with her father and is quiet and reserved at school. After witnessing a UFO crash in the nearby forest, she discovers an injured alien pilot known as "D.D." and a dangerous creature called a Maguar. When the Maguar nearly kills her, an alien entity merges with her body to create the Riberus battle armor known as Figure 17, which defeats the threat. The entity introduces itself as Hikaru and appears as Tsubasa’s identical twin. Over time, Tsubasa becomes more sociable with the help of Hikaru. With numerous Maguar eggs across Hokkaido, they must use Figure 17 to destroy the hatched creatures until additional help arrives from D.D.’s planet.
