In 2030, a global virus known as Gibia infects humans, transforming them into various monsters depending on factors like age, gender, and race. Amid this devastated landscape in Japan, two figures emerge: a samurai and a ninja from the early Edo period. They travel alongside a doctor seeking a cure for the virus. As they journey through the ruined land, they face constant threats from Gibia-infected creatures and outlaws who prey on travelers for sustenance.
