A girl named Maroko Yomota arrives at the Yomota family home, claiming to be Inumaru’s granddaughter and traveling from the future using a time machine. The family consists of Inumaru, his father Kinekuni, and mother Tamiko. Despite Tamiko’s resistance, Kinekuni and Inumaru allow Maroko to stay, leading to changes in their household dynamic.
