After Vega's forces launch a destructive assault on planet Fleed, Duke Fleed and Grendizer flee to Earth. There, Dr. Amon, director of the Space Research Center, takes him in and renames him Daisuke. As they collaborate at the center to investigate mysterious objects appearing in the city's sky, they are suddenly attacked, triggering a memory in Daisuke.
