Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai

Hotaru Hinase is a high school freshman with a supportive family and good friends, though she lacks experience in romantic relationships. She witnesses Hananoi, a boy from the neighboring class, being dumped and sees him alone in a park. She offers him an umbrella, which leads to him asking her out. Confused by the sudden attention, Hotaru struggles to understand the meaning of love. Hananoi, on the other hand, is deeply devoted and eager to do anything for the one he loves. The story explores the early stages of a relationship between a girl unsure of romance and a boy whose affection may be overwhelming.
