Lowe Gear and the Junk Guild attend an Earth-based auction for mobile suit components, where Lowe acquires a modified BuCUE head. When connected to his Red Frame Astray, it functions as a dual beam saber. He attempts to decode combat data stored in the head but is interrupted by an attack from multiple ZAFT units, including a CGUE DEEP Arms. Meanwhile, Gai Murakamo, piloting the Blue Frame, teams up with the Serpent Tail mercenaries to capture a GINN High Mobility Type. They are confronted by Edward Harrelson, who pilots a Sword Calamity Gundam and has recently annihilated a ZAFT fleet.
