Kijin Gentoushou

During the Edo period, a shrine maiden known as Itsukihime resides in the mountain village of Kadono. A young man named Jinta, who serves as her protector despite having no prior connection to her, confronts a strange demon in the forest. The demon speaks of events far into the future. Over time, the narrative spans from the Edo era to the Heisei period, following a demon hunter who moves through different time periods and reflects on the significance of carrying a sword. The first episode is approximately one hour long.
