Koiko no Mainichi

A manga adaptation, it centers on Sabu, a member of a Shinjuku gang, and his young wife Koiko, who attempt to maintain a peaceful life amid gang-related conflicts and illegal activities. Following an incident where Koiko saves Sabu's life, Tominaga, the gang's leader, develops romantic feelings for her. To create a scenario where he can assume responsibility for Koiko, Tominaga places Sabu in perilous situations designed to lead to his arrest. While imprisoned, Tominaga would then be obligated to care for Koiko.
