Oyayubi Hime: Monogatari

A spoiled girl named Mia receives a book titled *Thumbelina*, and after reading it, she is magically reduced in size and transported into the story's world. She begins a journey to find a way back home and to return to her original size, meeting companions and gaining life lessons along the way. Her experiences mark just the start of further adventures. The story was adapted into an eighty-minute film, released on VHS in North America by Starmaker Entertainment in 1993, and later reissued on DVD by Digiview Entertainment in 2006.
