The narrative focuses on the development of women's cycling in Japan, which emerged in the years following World War II. Despite its initial growth, the sport's organized competitions ceased after approximately 15 years, remaining inactive for many decades. A new initiative, the Rinkai! League, was established to bring the sport back into the public eye and reinvigorate interest in women's cycling.
