Kaito Odagiri, a rowdy boy who dreams of becoming a hero, is unexpectedly approached by the enigmatic transfer student Makoto Kaibara, who offers him a role in protecting their town. To his surprise, Kaito is transformed into a "Magical Boy," a type of hero with an eye-catching appearance. Initially horrified and refusing the role, Kaito protests the embarrassment of his new look. However, he soon grows fond of his unexpectedly adorable appearance.
