A young man studying shoemaking skips school to draw in a traditional Japanese garden, where he encounters an older woman named Yukino. They begin meeting repeatedly, though only on rainy days, without setting specific times. Over time, they grow closer and share personal thoughts with one another. However, the approaching end of the rainy season casts a shadow over their time together.
