A new student arrives in class—Tina, a girl from Russia who cannot speak Japanese and is overwhelmed by the attention. When she appears close to crying, Iori steps in to help. Iori is disliked by his classmates due to a past misunderstanding, but his background in interpreting and training with the U.S. military makes him the ideal person to support Tina. As he assists her, he also sees an opportunity to prove himself to his peers. The story is adapted from an original work on Shōsetsuka ni Narō and is presented as a romantic high school comedy manga.
