Kana is an orphan who lost her parents in an accident and works on a vineyard sustained by a generous but unknown benefactor named "Mr. John Smith." One day, an attorney arrives with a message: Kana must take a job at a Tokyo restaurant, or the farm will lose its funding. The sudden ultimatum raises questions about Mr. Smith’s true intentions.
