Kana is an orphan who lost her parents in an accident and works on a vineyard sustained by a generous but unknown benefactor named "Mr. John Smith." One day, an attorney arrives with a message: Kana must take a job at a Tokyo restaurant, or the farm will lose its funding. The sudden ultimatum raises questions about Mr. Smith’s true intentions. Kana must decide whether to accept the offer, unaware of what awaits her in the city.
