A day after the previous episode, Hotaru and Saya discuss the flavor of love on a beach pier. Tō and Kokonotsu once again work on becoming popular through fortune-telling dagashi. When the two groups end up seeing each other from afar, Kokonotsu remembers his previous conversation with Hotaru at the train stop. He decides to give Hotaru an answer.
