Ep. 8: Akari und Judy knüpfen über die kaputten Schulglocken und den schwer fassbaren Titel der Jewelstar eine Verbindung.

Though successful in saying goodbye to Yuuma Akari still can't get the Rangula spell right and after being scolded the school bells suddenly break and the headmaster informs them that not even he can fix the bells. While practicing the Rangula spell Akari informs Ruby and Labra that she decided not to aim for the Jewelstar because she feels it is impossible for her and the previous winner must have been some incredible magician. She than runs into a girl named Judy who is also practicing the Rangula spell after messing up and later learns that she has been given the duty of ringing the school bells. Judy is exactly like Akari in many ways they quickly become friends but Akari is constantly thrown into different times and each time Judy has gotten a lot better at her job and a little more confident about herself. She later informs Akari that she's decided to go for the Jewelstar because she has learned that not everyone is good at first. Eventually Akari arrives in a time where the school bells are broken again Judy explains that once every twelve years the spell on the bells disappear and only a special student can fix them an she's that special student. Though not very confident at first Akari encourages her to give it a try but she is transported back to her time before she could see if she was successful. Prase than informs Akari that she was sent back twelve years and Judy managed to fix the bells and it was Akari's turn to fix them this year. though not confident at first after hearing the message left by Judy she decides to give it a try and successfully fixes the bells. she later learns that Judy was the precious student who won the title of Jewelstar all those years ago and she decides to aim for the Jewelstar herself.
