Gisaburou Sugii

He is perhaps most well-known for his work as a director on [Touch](https://anilist.co/anime/1065/), an anime adaptation of [Mitsuru Adachi](Mitsuru Adachi)'s manga series of the same name. Also noted for the [movie adaptation](https://anilist.co/anime/1961/) of the Arashi no Yoru ni children's book series, and the movie [Night on the Galactic Railroad](https://anilist.co/anime/1441/). He is a member of the Directors Guild of Japan and the Japanese Animation Creators Association.
