As Akari starts her weather girl job, Sumire seeks her own specialty but catches a throat cold. She receives an invitation for a shampoo girl audition that prioritizes beauty over singing, causing her to doubt her path as a singer. Sumire then discovers a CD debut audition scheduled for the same day. Concerned for her sister, Akari consults their sibling, who advises Sumire to make her own choices. Akari returns with a special herbal tea recipe to help treat Sumire's illness. Encouraged by Akari's support, Sumire declines the shampoo audition and attends the singing audition instead. She successfully passes the singing audition, resolving her conflict and committing to her musical career.
