Reiko and Kippei accompany Yuzu to her preschool for Parents' Day. During the event, Yuzu and Kippei notice a new bruise on Shouta, prompting Yuzu to mention a previous injury she observed. Shouta fails to follow the teacher's instructions, leading his mother to scold him for embarrassing her and remove him to the hallway. Yuzu becomes distressed and cries upon witnessing Shouta's mother physically strike him. In response to the violence, Kippei directly confronts Shouta's mother, causing her to leave the premises abruptly.
