Ep. 16: Kippei confronts Shouta's mother after Shouta falls down stairs and is hospitalized

Kippei remains troubled by Shouta's family issues while Kokoro attempts to comfort him. He approaches Shouta's mother outside her apartment, urging her to seek assistance. Shouta inadvertently causes her to drop her groceries, leading her to strike him. He tumbles down the stairs and loses consciousness, prompting a neighbor to call for emergency services. Medical staff at the hospital question Shouta's parents regarding his bruises and recommend counseling. Later, Yuzu and Kippei witness the family relocating. Shouta's mother explains they are moving to the countryside to live with grandparents and receive help. Yuzu and Shouta share a farewell as the family departs.
