Following a fireworks display, Shin-ah and Jea-ha arrive to save Yona and Yun from officials who nearly killed them. The narrative shifts to show the perspectives of Hak, Jea-ha, Shin-ah, Ki-ja, and other pirates as they engage mercenaries and corrupt officials in combat. During the skirmish, Yan Kumji attempts to escape and shoots Jea-ha while he is airborne. Enraged and resolute, Yona fires an arrow that kills Yan Kumji, effectively ending the battle. As the group celebrates their victory, Yona separates from the others and unexpectedly encounters Su-won.
