In the year 0048, following devastating wars, entertainment has been outlawed under the strict control of the anti-music DES. In response, a group of young women have revived the iconic J-Pop group AKB48, forming a new team known as AKB0048. These members are not only performers but also trained in combat, capable of operating both on stage and in battle. Guided by a leader known as Sensei Sensei, they fight to protect the right to enjoy music across the galaxy.
