Akikan! OVA

A high school student named Kakeru Daichi buys a can of melon juice soda from a vending machine, only for it to transform into a girl he calls "Melon." She is cold and distant, and she is joined by other similar girls referred to as "Akikan" or "empty can" girls. These characters require carbon dioxide to become fully human.
