Suspecting Kasuga is with Nakamura, Saeki questions him about hiding secrets. Kasuga denies any wrongdoing, leading Saeki to decide to trust him. He then begs Nakamura to confess the truth to Saeki because he cannot do it himself. Nakamura arranges to meet him in front of the school at midnight. She persuades him to write his actions on the classroom chalkboard. Following this, the pair proceeds to extensively vandalize the room together.
