Aku no Hana

Kasuga Takao is a student who enjoys literature, especially Baudelaire’s *Les Fleurs du Mal*. He is drawn to Saeki Nanako, a classmate he idealizes. One day, he returns to his classroom alone to retrieve his book and discovers Saeki’s gym uniform there. He takes it on a sudden whim, and soon rumors spread that a "pervert" stole it, causing him intense shame. Nakamura, a socially isolated and unusual girl in the class, witnesses the theft. Rather than exposing him, she senses a shared abnormality and begins manipulating him. As Nakamura exerts influence over his life, Kasuga struggles with his guilt and his desire to be near Saeki. The situation raises questions about Nakamura’s true intentions and whether Kasuga can navigate the consequences of his actions.
